A Quarantine Dinner Date at Home!

Does quarantine have you down? Are you not comfortable heading out to your favorite date place? Read on for how to have your very own dinner date at home!

Your dinner date at home does not need to be super fancy! It definitely doesn't need to look like the place settings I put together in the picture. You can just use whatever plates you have on hand. I recommend that you use disposable dishes if you want a quick clean up!

If you have children, have them help you set up! It is a great opportunity to get them involved! And, plus, you could even have them participate by folding your napkins! I will be sharing a tutorial in the coming days that you can use.

In the above picture, I put together a simple, but elegant, table setting that could be used for a special night in! For this look, I used black salad and dinner plates that I bought from Pier 1 Imports (if you want to get them, hurry quickly to your closest open store before they sell out!). I added white napkins, napkin rings, and a varied array of candles (in this case, two tapers and four tea lights/votives). I used some silverware that I had on hand to add the finishing touch!

One thing to really remember when doing a date night at home is to KEEP IT SIMPLE! Order take-out! Let someone else do the cooking! Keep your décor simple - it can even be just with some candles! You and your partner will appreciate it!
